"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."

Tonight I must write the saddest lines...
My Mum was a hugely important influence in my life... in many ways she made me the way I am. She died this morning so I may seen somewhat distracted for a while.
hi chris.... condolences about ur mom.....even my mom passed away recently and just like ur mom was a big influence for you, even my mom was a big influence and motivation for me....and ever since she died a month ago, even i have been looking for answers and have been somewhat distracted... But what i've found is that if i trust my Lord Jesus, things become a lot more easier and i find a lot of comfort....i have no clue whether u believe in Jesus or not...but all i want to say is that try leaving it all unto Jesus for this one time...and i'm certain that u'll find comfort in Him...
I am sorry to hear of your sad news and having lost my father, with whom I was very close, have an idea of your loss. It took me some time, and help from from friends, to deal with the loss and now I remember 2 things when the sad feelings return.
The first is that I feel the loss so much because I remember how much love, joy and fun we shared, and what I learned from him. The legacy of all these memories should be joy not pain. That is what he would want and it is what I want for my children when my time here comes to an end.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. ~Kahlil Gibran
The second is that I believe in the infinate wonder of life and that our existance is only a single facet.
Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. ~Rossiter Worthington Raymond
I hope that these thoughts may help, they have for me.

So sorry Chris - Take time to think and be at peace - to grieve is good at any age. May you find peace
